Responsibilities of the Committee


PNC (President) Job:

1. Develop a draft plan for events and initiatives and discuss it with the Committee for input and refinement.

2. Facilitate discussions within the Committee to formulate a cohesive and effective plan for events and activities.

3. Ensure that the Committee organizes a minimum of 3 events in a year, as per the group's objectives.

4. Take the lead in keeping Kent Group members vibrant, active, and informed by disseminating relevant information and updates across Brigade Intake 2001.

5. Act as the main point of contact and representative for Kent Group members, advocating for their interests and needs within the larger community.

6. Ensure that the committee performs their duties thoroughly before and after events.

Secretary Job:

1. Gather information from PNC and ensure it is communicated to everyone promptly.

2. Initiate communication at least 4 weeks in advance of any event or message.

3. Ensure all members are aware of important updates and announcements.

4. Chase up on returns required for events, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Treasurer Job:

1. Collaborate with the Committee to establish a budget plan for events.

2. Coordinate with Food IC, Entertainment IC, and Event IC to allocate funds accordingly.

3. Calculate all costs and divide them fairly among participants.

4. Utilize the Intake 2001 Bank Account for all financial transactions.

5. Process payments to "Intake 2001" using the provided account details and payment reference format.

6. Produce a clear and transparent expense report after the event.

Food IC Job:

1. Engage the group in discussions to determine the best food options for events.

2. Liaise with the Treasurer to obtain necessary funds for food purchases.

3. Recruit volunteers to assist with shopping, gathering supplies, and food preparation.

4. Ensure all aspects of food preparation and service are well-coordinated and executed.

Entertainment IC Job:

1. Collaborate with the Committee to develop a budget and plan for entertainment activities.

2. Arrange all necessary resources for events, including sound systems, musical instruments, videos, etc.

3. Prepare entertainment elements such as dohari, jokes, live singing, etc.

4. Ensure all entertainment aspects are well-organized and contribute to the overall enjoyment of the event.
